What if…

If we've lost
A near and dear one, 
May we find within
Patience and solace,
That they're resting
In a better place

What if 
Death was for them
Rest and relief?
They could not bear
The suffering, 
Take not the pain,
So left this life
And the soul reached 
A beautiful realm 
Much greater, higher.

Let us perhaps
Hold this belief,
To lessen the sorrow,
A comforting thought
Maybe we can borrow.

Accept fully,
This journey 
To the other realm 
Follows cosmic time,    
 Not an age in number
As in temporal time.
