As evening arrives…

Choose to visualise rainbows
May you silent the noises of worry and stress and fear. May you find your peace as you use words of hope and thoughts of love. May the mind retain and recall your favourite music, your favourite songs, your favourite flavours and beautiful memories.
May your heart be filled with contentment and courage.

Wonder why

The squirrel seems
Less playful,
The wind seems
Much heavier,
The sun seems
Much distant,
The laughter seems
Much hollower,
The chat seems
Much mundane,
The debate seems
Much effort,
The meal seems
Much familiar,
The water seems
Much nauseous,
The heart seems
Much numb,
The mind seems
Much dumb.
It's one of those days,
Only music seems
Mystical, magical,
Music has it's healing ways.

July

July
The rain clouds,
Bring relief,
To the lands,
Thirsty and dry;
It's July.

Nature seems to ask not
When, what, who, where,
And why:
Some places flood,
In July,
Some are too parched,
Still very dry.

Clouds and life,
Both are so random,
Dear July,
Please put everything,
Back in tandem.

Good Morning

May this day
Be perfect
In a way
That makes you
Smile a little more.

May this day
Be perfect
In a way
That you
Feel glad a little more.

Wish you a little more
Of all the very best
You deserve and desire.

Vivid memories

Share love and laughter
We are all merely,
A future memory.
What sort of vivid one,
Do we choose to be,
Before we are done?

Who ever you happen,
To meet and to be with,
Here and right now,
Choose to be kind,
Or quiet, if not loving.

That's how,
They'll remember you,
Be kind to yourself too!

Real life, real folks, real togetherness.

Neural Whispers

https://thepineconereview.com/amita-sanghavi-neural-whispers-issue-4/

Quest

How do you want to become better? What do you need to unlearn and what self belief do you need to let go?
What have you questioned,
About yourself lately?

What have you deliberated on?
About who you are,
What do you want to do,
With your limited time here?

Are you spending time, Reflecting on
How you want things
To be different
Or better about yourself?

Are you willing to look,
Into what you need,
To change about yourself?

Observe a few minutes
Of silence,
A meditative, quiet, self-reflection time.

Focus on what is within.

A sesame seed

How little, how tiny.

A sprinkle of sesame,
Adds special flavour.
Like a timely smile,
Brings relief greater.

Its not words alone,
That we use as balm,
To bring back calm.

Tiny gestures,
Warm expressions,
Like a nod,
A smile,
A pat,
Lift up those near,
And encourage our dear,
Spread comfort and cheer,
As they release fear.

Like the sesame seed,
Tops our food,
Makes it special indeed,
Use a sprinkle of warmth,
For those around
And in need.

Good morning!

Dear June,

June, the summer holiday month
Dear June,

A lot in the world,
We find, is out of tune.

As you are coming soon,
May I remind you,
To use all your powers,
To bring relief showers.

Relief from war,
Relief from hate,
Relief from pain.

A good amount of rain,
Enough of food grain,
Please would you bring,
Energy that's new,
And fresh and healing?

Pack along,
A hopeful song,
To be sung in chorus,
Let's sing all June,
Notes in a merry tune.

Please pack all these,
And lots of good luck,
With you, as you come,
Dear June,
My dear June.
May June be cool!

Good Morning!

Connect. Create. Care.
Smile. Read. Repeat.

Recipe for your day:

Have a few fulfilling moments,
A few bonding moments,
A few quiet moments,
A few exciting moments,
A few memorable moments.

Today may all go well. Better than expected.

Infinite

The leaves
The petals
The pebbles
The dew drops
The stars

Infinite
Nature.

Nature.
The Ultimate Guru
Nurture Nature.

Arise, rise.

Take off!
Awake, arise,
Pursue the new,
Make the best use,
Of this day,
Or you'll regret,
When you realise,
How fast time flew,
So do more right now,
Focus and just do.

Time runs,
Why procrastinate?
Don't leave
Taking decisions,
Until its oh!
Too late.
Why wait?

Keep away

Oh I almost forgot…
Keep away
The urge,
To delay.

Get up!
Do it!
You have to do it anyway.

Exercise?
Declutter?
The follow up call?
Making a meal?
An unpaid bill?

What is it,
You haven't done still?

Today, make it a day
To begin, to attempt, to complete, whatever it be:
Any pending talks,
Your Nature walks.
Or lots of to-do tasks.

'What's your plan?'
Today, to you asks.
Now!

The other half of 2022 arrives

To sun-hot May,
The summer-bringer,
In days few,
We bid adieu.

How very soon,
Arrives June,
Along comes the monsoon,
May the rains grace,
Cool the land too,
Welcome, 'warm' welcome,
To the second half
Of the year 2022.

Lets remind ourselves,
In New Year resolutions
What did we decide,
But simply couldn't do?

Its never too late,
Begin today,
It's still May.

Think how

The joy of colours
In the cycle of Nature
In life and death
Even dry dying leaves
Add colour to Nature
In their Fall
In their last season
They give us souls
Beauty for a reason:
Every breath brings
The reminder,
Do something worthwhile
Make someone smile,
Perhaps is the lesson.
Find your way of adding color to life

Decluttering and closures

Let go. Feel lighter.
What makes decluttering difficult is letting go.

You loved that stuff
Of very long ago,
But now,
You don't need it
You know.

If you want to go
With the flow,
Clutter can't burden you,
Attachments to old energy
Can't withhold you
From being ready
And receiving all new.

At the moment,
It might be hard,
But overcome the urge
Not to let go,
Do not hoard,
You need to declutter
You need to purge,
To let the new
Come on board.

Closures are necessary.

The Art of Worrying

The Art of Worrying
A nagging worry

Might be an opportunity

To bring about change

And turn the worry

Into a personal change,

Take responsibility,

To improve self,

Change a 'given' belief,

Re-question, redefine

What bothers you and why.

Think beyond the clouds,

Of anxiety and worry,

They may shower upon you,

A refreshing insight,

Or wisdom anew.
See every anxiety and worry as a call for change.

May

Looks familiar? May you declutter. The Kon Mari way.
May everything go right,
May we all feel peace,
And we may all heal.

May we all decide,
To live in the moment,
May all shed off
Our memories of lack,
Our painful past,
And wear a smile,
And ponder for a while,
How our souls
From fear of lack
Lead to some greed,
May we gently
From this be freed.

Clutter crowds the mind,
Creativity gets no space,
And is left behind.

Why do we accumulate,
More and more,
When we know for sure,
We can use only few,
So keep the best,
Declutter helps us cure,
Brings us mental peace,
We feel sanctity pure.

We have to leave,
All this behind,
From time to time,
To ourselves,
May we gently remind?

May 2022 arriving soon

Come (what) May,
Let’s positive stay.
May in May,
You healthy stay.

May in May
Your wealth
Increase day by day.

May in May
You laugh
And happiness
Come your way.

May in May
Flowers grow
In your path
And sweetly sway.

May in May
Your wishes fulfil,
For this to happen,
Let's together pray.
In May, may peace come forever to stay.

Success
Success is the result of our genuine talent, sincere effort and strong decision to not give up before we achieve our goal. Yes. But then how is it that only few succeed while many do not, despite of the talent, effort and determination?

We do reflect- oh the timing was not right, or some stroke of bad luck...etc.

I feel above and beyond the obvious, there are four more things- our success is attained as it is:

First, God is answering someone else's prayer.

Two, our success is fruit of our ripened past good karma.

Three, our success is a blessing recieved.

Four, our success is pre determined, our path calls us, as we are chosen to be instrumental in accomplishing larger designs for the larger good.

So is our success something to be proud of, or not?
I think actually it is better to keep our grace and have a gratitude-filled heart towards a universal supreme energy and understand our success as a rich and truly humbling experience when we count how many people indirectly or directly helped us get this success, get us here.
So ours, is then, the role of an instrument and to be chosen as an instrument we may feel gratitude, exercise detachment and show affection.
We must do what we do to
feel alive with excitement while doing our work, feel alive with joy when we accomplish, live in that moment fully and then detach and move on to something different and new- for a rolling stone gathers no moss, and well, we cannot cling to one success forever just like we cannot keep on eating sugar forever!

Taste success, devour it, savour it, then 'gargle' with humbleness and gratitude, cleaning your mind, heart and soul and keep moving on...
Move on to do more, to new beginnings!

Inside your mind

May your Monday begin with
Light and delight💗
Inside your mind,
Keep thoughts kind.

Inside your mind,
Do not rewind.

Inside your mind,
Keep your thoughts,
Words,deeds aligned.

Inside your mind,
Keep positivity enshrined

Good morning!
Inside your mind…

Good morning

Wear dimples of grace and gratitude in your heart, and beauty will peep out of your smile.
May all go well today.
May troubles melt away.

Wish you a bounce
In your step,
Happy and childlike,
May your heart sway.

May the day be simple
Make you just smile,
And show your dimple.
There are miles and miles of smiles just because of your smile.

Uncertainty is okay

Wait…
Uncertainty:
It is a gap,
A blur,
The distance,
Between the answer,
And its question.

It is the time
When we have to sit back,
Not knowing,
What's next in line,
Feeling fear and lack.
Its best to wait,
And let the universe,
Gather its intelligence,
And put the best stuff,
Together for us.

Uncertainty is quite
An humbling experience.
It makes us patient,
And lean on faith,
And seek divine guidance.

Just breathe.
Just be.
May the universe conspire,
And may you wait out;
For those who wait patiently,
Also serve.

Accept uncertainty,
Let life unfold.
In the face of uncertainty,
Be stoic, be bold.

When for no reason

Sometimes for no obvious
Or explicable reason,
You may just feel
Your heart is heavier,
Your mood is low,
Your reflexes are slow.

Usually around this time,
Same day, same time,
In the past,
You have faced,
A devastating setback.

The heart has not forgotten,
The mind has not overcome,
But you have moved on.

At such moments,
It helps to do Pranayam.
Meditate.
Be gentle with yourself.
Do some new artwork.
Read a new poem.
Smell the flowers.
Direct your attention
To chanting or prayers
And observe meditation.

Reward yourself
With care and compassion.
Instead of avoiding
The feeling, be with it.
Accept it.
Improve on self-preservation
And self-care.

This too shall pass.
Hope you have a good life ahead.
Nature helps healing, so does Silence

Have faith

Watch flowers bloom,
Listen the birds sing,
Bump into bunnies
Scurrying and hurrying,
Dancing and hip-hopping.

Rise and shine,
With love and faith,
Of all the divine,
And in God's trust
May your soul be refined,
And in blessed love,
May you remain entwined.
Remain blessed

The only control

Refuse to be run over by circumstances
In every difficult situation in life, the only way to be in charge is to control your mind, control your tongue and control your actions.
It is smarter to be more in control of yourself than to try and control others.
Silencing the mind and overcoming negativity, overthinking and judgemental presumptions, are all necessary in trying times.

In the end, its all about this:
You can't control others, you can't control the world, so just learn to control yourself.

The power lies within.
Hold your voice until you need to use your roar

Closure

In the beginning, is the end.
At some point of time,
Its just time,
To leave a job,
To leave a relation,
To leave a nation.

Some by choice,
So we may rejoice,
While some endings
Just are meant,
Pre written, predestined.

Perhaps a reluctant exit,
A heart-heavy bye bye,
At crossroads, we arrive.

Eyes we may half close,
Refusing to face
The uncertainty upfront,
Though questions chase,
No answers to hunt.

Then tears escape,
And sighs release
Lips we may seal,
Quiet and low we feel.

Each closure
Brings emptiness too,
Ends a phase of life,
Perhaps long overdue?

Look towards the new,
Watch the morning light,
The dawn adorns
A slightly golden hue.
Soak in the sun's rays,
May your energy renew.

You are enough,
To take care of you,
To yourself, do remind
To seek and look,
You will surely find,
Hope is within you,
Courage exists there too.
Give yourself quiet time to do proper closures

Control

Think about it
'You can never expect life to be as you would like life to be. But you can always expect the most carefully thought of ways to deal with what is thrown at you. So how you respond is the key to your own well being.
Do not rush into a reaction immediately. Take your time.
You choose to be a highly inflammable chemical or not, in the moment. Be gentle to yourself.

Increase your self control. Score high in it. Self control is a challenge. Score atleast 70% and aim 90% in 5-10 years".

Think about it.😊
Good morning Duniya!

Anticipate

The next moment

Anticipate

Something wonderful,

And something pleasant

Is about to happen.

Life happens in moments.

Have a day blessed with

Hopeful, peaceful,

And lovely moments.
The moment before flying…

Migrant

Smile more
The winged explorer,
The sky-migrant,
The global glider
The borderless flyer
The bird
Tell me,
Do you look back
To your first nest,
To your first branch,
To your first tree?
Do you only fly onward,
Do you only move forward,
Never glance backward,
Never sigh,
Just fly high?

Me too, a migrant,
Between cities,
Between tongues,
Between thoughts,
Between my origin
And final destination,
Here and now, on earth,
Only pursuing
Peace is worth,
I perch for a while,
I just have one lifetime,
So, I search for peace,
From mile to mile,
And ultimately realise
Peace itself perches
In my heart and my smile.

Peace is within.

I have majored, 18 years in Muscat.

2004-present, a journey of joy.
Back in 2004 I landed on 9th April, Good Friday, in Muscat.
I now feel Muscat is in me as much as I am in Muscat, my beloved city.
Thank you, Muscat,
Thank you, Oman.

Oman, Beauty’s address

The Art of Leaving

Leaving is an art.

Smilingly depart.

Not all you meet qualify

For a heart-to-heart.

You can't verify

Any person or relation

'Beforehand'

Only afterwards,

You realise

How genuine they are.

Time reveals,

Always, and also

Time heals.

Leave, don't grieve,

Don't pine

For what is not,

Don't in Moha-maya

Get so caught,

Shallow human selfishness

Has no limit,

Nor measure,

Gather yourself,

Choose a closure.

The 'art of leaving',

Means moving on,

Into new worlds.

In new beginnings,

Do start believing.

How about…

Being Sunny today…
How about...
Smiling
Without any reason today?
How about...
Singing
With(out) tune today?
How about...
Joking and laughing
On yourself today?
How about...
Giving up a 'must do' today?
How about...
Facing towards the Sun and simply being happy
today?
Being Sunnier, Sunniest today?

Topsy

Not a great morning, I say, but do what you can and just pray.
Ces`t la vie!
The world is at times
A bit topsy, a lot turvy,
For you or me
Or her or him,
The morning may seem,
A bit like
Coffee gone cold,
A bit like
A slightly burnt cookie,
That too without cream.

Your mood may seem low,
The sun may glare
And pale your glow,
Life may bring you,
Blow after blow.

If this be such a day,
I wish good luck
Comes your way,
Hope all the odds
You do overcome,
And find solutions,
Where there seemed none.
You’ll get there…be back in control soon! This too shall pass.

A beginner’s mind

All fresh, all new and filled with anticipation💗
I wish you,
An idea new.

I wish you,
A beginner's mind,
No past to rewind.

May your heart,
Hold anticipation,
And affirmation.

May your eyes,
Find more possibilities,
Than see otherwise.

Go ahead this week,
Hopeful, not meek,
Follow your dream
Doubt-free,
Go, seek!

I wish you smile,
As you walk,
Mile after mile,
With a spring,
In your feet.

May soft petals be underneath your feet now and always.

A little more

May Grace overflow in your life
Fill your heart
With a little more
Hope
A lot more of
Forgiveness

Fill your heart
With a little more
Love
A lot more of
Kindness

Holy thoughts, hopeful words, kind deeds

What poetry is…

Poetry is a moment deeply experienced and beautifully versed
Poetry is born when the heart and intellect meet and converse and reflect together.

Poetry is a moment of awareness, a moment of realisation, an insight into being alive and experiencing with the heart; therefore poetry is heartfelt. The poet's sensitivities are heightened towards the occurrence and the experience.

Poetry is inspirational, and also powerful due to the wisdom it carries within its imagery, mood, ethos and pathos.

Poetry is all this, and much more.

Writing poetry is as much a spiritually elevating experience as reading poetry.

To read poetry is to peep into a universally experienced humane moment of life once more, from a different angle and a different point of view-and absorbing the poet's refreshing way of looking at the world.

Reading poetry is therefore at once engaging, elevating, and an intellectual and emotional experience.

And a poet is…

Half full

Half full and fuller,
May you sing, dance, live cooler
Half full and fuller,

Very cool and cooler,

May your riches multiply,

May your effort intensify

Not a fool or a loser,

Be in gratitude forever,

A heart brimming over

With hope and love

Flowing clear,

Trust in yourself

Stronger,

Faith in yourself deeper,

May blessings

On you always shower,

May Grace be

Your invincible power.

Feel joy and laugh fuller

As April approaches

Here comes April
This April:

Hold your positive thoughts longer,
It makes your words
Sweeter and stronger.
Hold your peace longer,
It makes your words calmer.
Hold onto truth forever,
It gives your words
Power.
What thoughts you keep,
That far you'll reach,
Your intent, your thoughts
Into your words will seep,
And find a place
In your speech.
Be word-conscious today onwards!
Be April 'Wise'
Not April fool,
Be 'Word-wise',
Relaxed and cool.
April goal

For some of us

May their soul rest in eternal peace
For some of us

From this day, today,

This world will never be

The same again.

A few words unsaid,

A few tears unshed,

Will forever remain.

For some of us now on,

A hollow feeling,

An emptiness,

A sense of loss,

A long, quiet silence,

Will forever remain.

This world will never be

The same again.

To those 'some of us'

Whose hearts have broken,

I say, let us bid

Our final farewell,

To the dear departed,

Who now lies in peace

Rises to God,

No longer in pain.

Without them,

Our world will never be

The same again,

As they left quietly,

On the final journey

Rising to Paradise,

Welcomed by eternity-

Leaving with us,

Pure, precious values,

And pearls of wisdom,

And unforgettable

Moments and memories.

To those 'some of us'

Inconsolable, tearful,

Today in this unfamiliar

'Never the same again'

Wide wide world,

Those 'some of us'

Feel their absence in

This familiar homeland,

As they try their grief

To stoically withstand,

I too, with them, stand,

And pray that always

God holds their hand.

Raising sons…

Raising sons to respect and care for women
Dear Mothers,

Hope you empower women

And as mothers proudly

Raise sons as gentlemen,

Charming, kind,

Mindful, possessing

Real integrity.

Men who are praised

For absolute chivalry.

They hold doors,

Happily help in chores,

Make their women

Feel like royal ladies.

Mothers, whose sons,

Are their dears,

And raise gentlemen

For others' darling

daughters:

And their sons know

the lady's real worth,

Settle for nothing less

As they walk this earth.

You, who give birth,

You do recall:

You

Rock the cradle,

You

Rule the world!
Gender roles have to be replaced by ‘Life skills’ for one and all.

The Art of Leaving

The Art of Leaving all that which is detrimental to our physical, mental, emotional health is a PERSONAL CHOICE.
Leave it.

Detox.

The computer screen,

The ice cream,

The fried chips routine.

Leave it.

Detox.

The virtual game.

The fast food Ramen.

Leave it.

Detox.

Life is not indoors

On a screen-an idiot box.

Choose un-virtual

Real activities, detox!

Choose

The Art of Leaving

To begin

The Art of Living.
Choose outdoors!

Live in Real Reality

Break free NOW
Life is not lived

Through an electronic

Two inch foldable screen.

A game played virtually

Means losing health

Both physically

And mentally, no moving.

Playing from a couch,

Is that true sporting?

Success is not

A virtual dream,

Applauding a cartoon,

Or a footballer 'anime'.

Life is not experienced

Alone, behind a screen.

Remind each other,

That the screen

Is a tool,

Don't overuse it,

Like a fool.

Use it with discretion,

To enhance each skill,

Exercise great control,

Or do you choose to live

A real, social life,

Be active, outdoors,

On an occasional parole?

Locked behind

The digital screen,

Are you self-jailed,

Behind virtual bars,

A voluntary 'inmate'?

Have you yourself,

Imprisoned and chained?

Do you need digital detox?

Grief

Grief is never brief.

From it,

There's no relief.

Let it shed

From your heart,

Autumn after autumn,

Leaf after leaf,

Tear after tear,

Drop by drop.

Bare eyes,

Bare branch,

Bare heart,

Just continue to live,

Dhak-dhak, dhak-dhak,

Beat after beat...

As you walk on,

Mile after mile,

Remember:

Life is brief,

Accept grief,

With it reconcile,

Try once more to smile.
Smile

Time

Spend your time well.

It's the only thing

We have no clue

When it will be over.

Think about how much

We need to push ourself

To accomplish today.

Your journey and mine,

Is like a sip of wine,

Time gulps us over,

May it go slower.

We live the distance,

From presence

To absence.

We breathe the distance,

From sound

To silence.

We traverse the distance,

Our journey together,

Some day transcends

To infinity.

Sooner or later,

We move far above,

To the skies;

Breaking free

From the earth

And its gravity.

You and me,

We are a soul,

In a form.

Into 'shunya'

Any moment,

We may transform.

Right now, here,

Next moment,

Who knows, maybe,

We will become,

A memory sheer.

Every minute

Loads seconds sixty,

So go ahead,

Live it intensely,

With a high level

Of integrity,

And positive energy.

If tomorrow comes,

Make today worthy,

To be remembered dearly.

Good Morning

Notice colours around you. Visualise them with glitter too.
As you go

About your chore,

And still have

To finish many more,

Hold thankfulness,

Remember many yearn

For this normal-ness.

May peace and calm pour,

In your heart-core.

May good luck knock

At your life's door.

Have a blissful morning,

And a very lucky day.
May this day be calm and nice.

Have a very Foodie Holi

Carrot halwa red,

Boondi ladoo yellow,

Lassi creamy white,

Wishing you

A Holi very bright.

Rose milk pink,

Baigan bhartaa purple,

Gulaab jamun dipped in

Sugar syrup very golden,

And a chocolate truffle,

May in Life always,

You stay out of trouble.

Wishing you Happy Holi

A day full of colours

A rainbow in a jumble,

Samosas and chutney,

Sweet and hot,

Hot and sweet,

With dollop of ice cream,

Topped with honey.

Wishing you Happy Holi,

As challenges you tackle,

Go tighten well,

Your life's seatbelt,

With a friendly hug,

Laughter, love, cheer,

Never under pressure,

Should you crackle,

Don't ever forget,

To cherish, enjoy life,

And age happily,

Chuckle after chuckle.

Wishing you

A Foodie Holi,

A gol-gappa-ful,

Masaaledar gulping,

Of poori after poori,

Rolly-polly, crispy,

Fun-filled, flavourful,

Sweet and savoury,

Zesty,

What matters.

Choose to regain strength and recover. Life is good.
Doesn't matter
How yesterdays were.
Or tomorrows will be.

Keeping well now-
Just 'now' matters.

The effort to gather
Yourself once more,
Rise to healing,
Like never before.

Remember:
No half death,
No half breath,
No life,
Without strife.

To renew effort,
Be determined,
Do not withdraw,
Live each moment well,
In negativity,
Please don't dwell.

Take a deep breath,
Choose wellness,
Choose strength,
And choose health.
In this moment,
Live fully well.
In ilness, choose having mental strength.
