What if…

Comforting thoughts
If we've lost
A near and dear one,
May we find within
Patience and solace,
That they're resting
In a better place

What if
Death was for them
Rest and relief?
They could not bear
The suffering,
Take not the pain,
So left this life
And the soul reached
A beautiful realm
Much greater, higher.

Let us perhaps
Hold this belief,
To lessen the sorrow,
A comforting thought
Maybe we can borrow.

Accept fully,
This journey
To the other realm
Follows cosmic time,
Not an age in number
As in temporal time.

COME, SEPTEMBER!

COME, SEPTEMBER
Bring some melody
Lessen the cacophony
Come,September,
Heal the ailing
Brighten the paling.

String hearts together,
Make tempers milder,
Come,September,
Let's hear melodies,
Begin soothing
Heavy, hurtful memories.

Come, September,
Remind us our cheer
And patience
And put our lives
Back in forward gear.

Forward is the way
